Minibus Options offer a variety of safety features

Reverse warning bleeper:

Provides a loud audible warning, to alert people behind the vehicle, when reverse gear is selected. A short delay over ride button can be fitted to the dashboard, for occasions that it is necessary to silence the reversing bleeper. Once pressed, the bleeper can not work for a period of some three minutes, but will then be automatically available at a later time, when reverse gear is next selected.

Reverse parking sensors:

Available on many models. Having engaged reverse gear, sensors in the rear bumper warn of any nearby objects with an audible signal to the driver.

Reverse aid camera:

Mounted directly above the rear doors providing a view immediately to the rear of the minibus. There are different types of visual display, from a small TV like screen (though sometimes difficult to site), a drop-down screen above the rear view mirror (factory option from Fiat and Peugeot), to an image projected within the rear view interior mirror.

Automatic fire extinguisher

Can be fitted to the engine compartment which is designed to activate on the detection of an excessive heat source. This extinguisher would be fitted in addition to the manual extinguishers, that are fitted as standard on all models.

Loading light

Consider fitting above the rear entrance - provides powerful additional lighting for when the wheelchair ramp or tail lift is being used.
