Whats included?

Your chosen vehicle and its specification will be dictated by your needs and your budget. All minibuses supplied are essentially custom built, with no two the same. Nonetheless, there are certain features that are common to most Wheelchair Accessible Minibuses that we supply:

  • Bodyside glazing of toughened safety glass; which might incorporate sliding units
  • Full interior bodyside and head lining of soft yet robust non-woven polypropylene
  • Sound and thermal insulation behind all lining panels
  • Slip-resistant safety flooring
  • Saloon lighting, switched from the cab
  • Step lights switched through door operation and side light switch
  • First aid kit
  • Fire extinguishers, preferably two (one to cab, one to rear saloon)
  • Fresnel reversing lens to rear door glass
  • An auxiliary step to side passenger entrance (some models feature cut in stepwell and extra low folding steps)
  • Adequate handrails at side passenger entrance
  • Wheelchair access to the rear entrance ( tail lifts meeting BS6109: part 2: 1989)
  • Generous lengths of low profile tracking for each wheelchair position and removable seats
  • Your choice of seating style, trimmed in your material choice
  • Restraints for seated passengers, wheelchairs and their occupants
  • Stowage for clamps / webbing and wheelchair passenger restraints
  • Personal choice, or the needs of your passengers may demand specific features such as
  • auxiliary heating, increased ventilation, improved lighting etc
